But before you rush off to the flower stand or call the maître d’ to request a table by the fireplace, take a moment to think about another important relationship: the one you have with your data.
Data quality is the foundation of successful BI initiatives, data warehouses, and master data management projects. Without a firm focus on data quality, many of these endeavors are likely to fail – just as your best-laid plans for a magical night on the town can be doomed by a sloppy gesture or statement.
