Thanks Channel Partners - for Rating WebFOCUS BUE a Best-in-Breed Tech Innovation

2016 was a period of noteworthy channel expansion for Information Builders, and 2017 is already shaping up to be a banner year for our channel growth (keep an eye out – we will be announcing some major partnerships and a new alliance program in the coming weeks!) But, before we forge any further into the new year, we’d like to briefly pay homage to our tremendous channel partners, and acknowledge the role they play in helping drive our business forward.

One of the ways that partners are supporting Information Builders is by highly rating our company and products in surveys and awards programs. We mentioned some of the industry and customer honors we received in 2016 in a blog post last month. There are three channel acknowledgements of which we are particularly proud.

WebFOCUS Business User Edition (BUE) earned finalist standing in the CRN 2016 Products of the Year and Tech Innovator awards programs, and the self-service business intelligence (BI) and analytics platform was named by CRN as one of the “coolest big data products of 2016.” (And it was just released in June of last year!)

What makes these tributes so significant to us, especially the 2016 Products of the Year nod, is that they are based on feedback from the solution provider community at large. Channel partners as well as CRN editors recognized WebFOCUS BUE as a finalist for 2016 Products of the Year in the Enterprise Software category, deeming the platform a best-in-breed technological innovation backed by a supportive channel partner program.

For this award, The Channel Company surveyed solution provider partners working with each of the finalists, asking them to rate products according to technology, revenue and profit, and customer demand. Solution providers considered several factors in determining their ratings, including product quality and reliability, technical innovation, ease of integration, potential to drive revenue, and fulfillment of market and customer demands.

According to Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company, “CRN’s Products of the Year certainly bring laudable innovations to market, but they represent much more than technical prowess alone. These valuable products stand at the intersection of technological excellence, outstanding profit potential, and high customer demand. Solution providers will find that our 2016 Products of the Year list serves as a valuable, one-of-a-kind guide to the all-around best new products in today’s IT marketplace.”

Information Builders extends a big thank you to partner respondents who provided favorable ratings of BUE and we look forward to continued collaboration with all of our partners this year. We take great pride in the bench strength and caliber of our channel ecosystem, and the distinctive value each partner provides in helping organizations implement successful BI and analytics strategies with our WebFOCUS platform.
