The Analytical Journey Through Information Builders' International Summits

More than 400 attendees took the analytical journey with us over the last two weeks in London, Frankfurt, Madrid, and Mexico City. Each Summit event offered customers and prospects the latest trends in data visualisation, big data, self-service BI, data quality, plus much, much more.
"Our accomplished goal was to leave attendees with expert knowledge about Information Builders’ analytic solutions, said EMEA (North) Vice President, Peter Walker. "As well, we gave them the opportunity to listen to customer case studies, attend best practices sessions, and gather insight from industry experts."
Our keynotes all fell within a similar theme: "The Role of Data and Analytics in Your Digital Transformation," with speakers including Bernard Marr, industry leader, bestselling author, and founder of Advanced Performance Institute. Mr. Marr wowed us with his insight on the impact of Big Data today and in the future.
Professor of e-business and e-entrepreneurship Dr. Tobias Kollmann spoke about Digital Transformation and today’s challenges for the industry. In addition, José Antonio Lorenzo, director of IDC Spain, talked about the relevance of information in the 21st century. And Ricardo Zermeño, president and founder of Select, a leading Mexican market analysis company, spoke about the digital transformation of organizations.

We were proud to hear from so many of our customers; Information Builders Award of Distinction winner BAE Systems (UK), DekaBank (Germany), DKV and IMSERSO (Spain), and CEMEX (Mexico) to name a few.
We also had excellent presentations from some of our partners: Intergence discussed how to manage the user application performance across complex cloud architectures; Everis (Spain) explained its vision about the functions of dashboards in the automotive segment; and Infonit (Mexico) described how important dashboards are in comparison with reports.
Lastly, we had the pleasure of hearing from some of Information Builders' product specialists and heard updates and roadmaps for WebFOCUS Business User Edition (BUE), In-Document Analytics, Omni-Gen, and iWay Big Data Integrator.
