For many sports fans, this weekend is one of the best of the year as the Final Four tips off with two games to decide who will play for NCAA men’s basketball’s championship. It’s the culmination of what has been a thrilling — and maddening! — March Madness tournament.

We can’t wait to watch and see who among Oklahoma, Villanova, North Carolina, or Syracuse is left standing for the title on Monday. But rather than simply take a look at how this year’s Final Four teams match up, we thought it would be interesting to take a historical look at the Final Four by diving deeper into the data.

The question on our minds is: of all the Final Four teams since 1980, which teams have had the most players drafted into the NBA? We analyzed the data and used visualizations to represent the trends.

Here are some of the most eye-opening conclusions from our analysis:
